The lanyard is used in fall arrest systems (with fall arrest harnesses) and is purposed to dissipate the forces experienced by a user during the fall. The lanyard may also be used in restraint and work positioning systems.
Consctruction of double lanyard, composed of two arms, provide permanent belay when moving along the metal structures.
Its special construction allows reducing length of the lanyard when not loaded and thus removes the risk to cling to an obstacle. Its elasticized arms are specially designed to avoid hindering progression. If a fall happens, its outer tubular webbing dissipates major load.
Energy absorber is included.
Durable fabric pouch protects the energy absorber from abrasion while allowing for simple inspection.
Sewn terminations of rope lanyard are additionally protected by plastic sheath that allows for simpler visual inspection. The lanyard can be used under temperatures from -30 till +50 °С.
Construction of the lanyard includes one STEEL MOUNTING MINI and two MOUNTING carabiners.
